Cheers to 2015

Happy New Year Everyone!

I have been on quite the hiatus and I am not apologizing for any of it! Blogging is something that I have enjoyed doing over the past year but I have made sure to live in the moment and not become obsessed with having a new post every day or week. Over the last couple of months I haven't had a whole lot of down time, given some crazy life events. And this past week, although full of "down time" was spent really soaking in the days of not having to work and be responsible, so  you'll have to forgive me for binge watching Netflix instead of tuckering down to write.

2015 brought with it so many amazing memories and milestones, when I think back I am astounded by all of the life changing events that occurred, it seems like such a blur. Here are some of my favorite moments and memories.

Last spring, I graduated from University, something I am incredibly proud of and that I can happily check off my Bucket List. It was an incredible 5 years where I made lifelong friends, learned a ton about myself and became the person  I am today. I wouldn't take back a minute of it, even the stress and anxiety filled days of exam writing.

Summer of 2015, as you may know, I went to Europe. After a year of planning and pining I finally hopped on a plane and explored cities that I have been daydreaming about my entire life. I strongly recommend biting the bullet, saving up, and travelling to your dream destinations. It's scary, and expensive but so worth the experience, and you can really do it on a budget if you stick to hostels and shy away from the extravagant things. Literally walking everywhere is the cheapest and best way to go!

I bought a car! and said goodbye to my first love of a vehicle, (Petrie, you'll forever be my first car), and got myself a whip that I can happily drive without fear of it breaking down.

Annddd I moved out! YES! Finally! I convinced one of my oldest friends to become my roomie, went on the hunt and in the course of a few months we found an apartment where we have never felt more at home.

I without a doubt can say this has been one of the best years of my life. Which only makes me so excited to see what 2016 will bring. Hopefully more adventures to fuel my blog posts!

Hope your 2015 was filled with laughs and love, and your 2016 with some adventure!
