Paris is Always a Good Idea
After 13 hours of flight, a traffic jammed taxi ride, multiple dirty looks from local parsiennes, and the stairway from hell we made it to our apartment. A bit timid, we took a jet lagged snooze before exploring the area as we weren't quite prepared for the massive culture shock we experience upon arrival. Once we lost our packs and ventured outside, the dirty looks declined and we began to feel a little more like locals.
The first day was filled with wanderings without an itinerary. Our apartment is in the Montmartre district, full of cafes, boulangeries, pattiseries and the like.
I have fallen In love with French doors and uneven cobblestones. Hopefully I'll share some more snaps of the next few days with you soon.
